Meet Emily- Women’s Sex Coach,

Educator & Embodiment Guide

I’m Emily Matthews — a women’s sex coach and educator dedicated to helping women reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their pleasure, and feel at home within themselves again.

My work is rooted in the belief that pleasure is not a luxury or a reward — it’s a birthright. And yet so many women move through the world numb, disconnected, overwhelmed, and unsure how to express what they truly want.

Through somatic practices, trauma-informed coaching, and years of studying sexuality, desire, and the nervous system, I rebuilt my relationship with my body from the ground up. I learned how to feel again — fully, honestly, safely. And that reclamation transformed my entire life.

Now, I support women who are ready for the same.

Women who want to feel alive again.

Women who want confidence, connection, safety, and sensuality — in their relationships, but also in themselves.

Women who know there is more available to them, and are ready to claim it.

This space is for you.
For your pleasure.
For your liberation.

My Journey to Pleasure

For a long time, I lived from the neck up.
I grew up disconnected from my body, shaped by perfectionism, and taught to prioritise being “good,” agreeable, and easy to love. I knew how to take care of everyone else — but not myself.

And then everything collapsed.

My world came crashing to a halt when I was sexually assaulted. It forced me into some of the darkest, most confronting seasons of my life. While I would never wish that experience on anyone, it was the wake-up call that cracked me open — the moment I knew I could no longer live disconnected from my own body, needs, and truth.

My healing wasn’t linear.
Some parts moved fast, others painfully slow.
Some were full of relief and beauty, others heavy and raw.

But every step pulled me closer to myself.

Through somatic work, embodiment practices, and trauma-informed coaching, I learned how to listen to my body again — how to meet my emotions instead of overriding them, how to stop performing in intimacy, and how to come home to my own pleasure without shame.

That journey taught me something I will never unlearn:
Pleasure isn’t a reward. It’s a birthright.
It’s the foundation of how we relate, how we love, and how we exist inside our own skin.

Now, as a women’s sex coach and integrative educator, I support other women walking their own versions of this path — women who want to feel alive again, express their desires, rebuild trust with their bodies, and reclaim the pleasure that has always been theirs.

This work isn’t just about sex.
It’s about liberation.
It’s about returning to the woman you were always meant to be.

my Proven Pleasure Portal™️ Process

  1. Safety

4.Pleasure

2. Desire

3. Expression

I don’t just teach pleasure — I help you embody it.

My approach combines neuroscience, nervous system regulation, trauma-informed coaching, and sensual embodiment to create lasting transformation.

Before any exploration of desire, we start with safety.
Through somatic and nervous system practices, we create a space where your body can relax, your mind can trust, and you feel fully contained. You’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system and meet yourself with curiosity rather than judgment. Feeling safe in your own skin is the foundation for everything that follows.

Once your nervous system feels grounded, we tune into your desires — both subtle and overt.
This isn’t about pressure or performance; it’s about curiosity, awareness, and reconnecting with what truly excites you. Together, we explore what turns you on, what lights you up, and what has been dormant or ignored. Desire is the spark that sets pleasure in motion.

Desire is only as powerful as the way we express it.
In this step, we build the skills, confidence, and language to communicate your needs — to yourself and others — in ways that feel safe, empowered, and authentic. Expression is about translating inner knowing into embodied action: boundaries, touch, communication, and erotic exploration.

Throughout this process we are grounded in conscious, embodied pleasure. This is where you feel the full integration of safety, desire, and expression — a living, breathing experience that radiates through every part of your life. Pleasure isn’t something you earn; it is the center of every step, available to you at all times.

My Integrative Approach

6 Principles That Guide My Work:

  • Many of the women I work with carry histories of sexual harm or deep emotional wounding — and that truth is held with absolute care here. Being trauma-informed means I honour my scope: I’m not a trauma therapist, and I don’t pretend to be one.

What I do offer is a warm, sensitive, deeply human space where your body’s story is welcomed, not rushed. I support you in listening to your nervous system, building real-life resilience, and reconnecting to safety inside yourself.

I’m trained to recognise when you’re in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn, and I have grounded, practical tools to help you regulate, pause, soften, or find your way back to yourself — without forcing or bypassing anything.

  • As an integrative sex coach trained deeply in embodiment and somatics, I help you come home to your body — not as an idea, but as a lived, felt experience.

I support you to expand your capacity to stay present with sensation, because that’s where deeper pleasure, intimacy, and truth live. Through body-awareness practices, guided exploration, and practical tools you can carry for life, you’ll learn how to listen to your body with clarity and confidence.

I help you attune to your needs, desires, and boundaries on a felt level — using simple, powerful somatic practices rooted in movement, touch, breath, and connection. This is where you meet yourself more fully, and where pleasure becomes something you can actually inhabit.

  • I weave health science into the way I coach — not to diagnose or treat, but to understand you deeply. I’m trained in the medical contexts that shape our pleasure: the impact of medications, chronic conditions, hormonal shifts, menopause, pregnancy, birth, and the natural tides of the menstrual cycle.

Because your body isn’t “random” — it’s responsive, wise, and always communicating.

My role is to support and empower you with that understanding, while staying firmly within my scope. I’m not a medical professional, and I honour that boundary. When something requires specialised care, I refer you to the right practitioners so you get the support your body truly deserves.

  • I know that pleasure is anything but superficial — it’s a nervous system resource that makes us more whole, connected, present, and loving humans.

When I take a pleasure-based approach with clients, I prioritise what feels good and what feels true in your body, never a hierarchy or a “should.” I will never push you into genital-focused practices before you’re ready. Instead, I invite you to explore pleasure, aliveness, and joy in all the places they already exist in your life.

Because when you build a relationship with everyday pleasure, your connection to your sexuality naturally expands too — with softness, safety, and genuine readiness.

  • I believe my clients know themselves far better than I ever could — so I’m intentional about never imposing my own beliefs, stories, or timelines onto your process. I see you as a whole, complex human being, not a condition or a “dysfunction” to be fixed.

My coaching is collaborative. I walk with you, not ahead of you or above you. You’re engaged in every part of the process, and your inner knowing leads the way.

I check in regularly to make sure you’re not overriding your body or pushing past your edges. We move at a pace that feels right, regulated, and grounded for you — always honouring your boundaries, your timing, and your truth.

  • I work with people from all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations — because everyone deserves high-quality sex education and coaching.

I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to express or explore your sexuality. My clients come with all kinds of curiosities, desires, histories, and identities, and every part of that is welcome here.

I meet you without judgment. I honour your unique sexual identity, your lived experiences, your needs, and the way you naturally relate to pleasure. My role is to support you in connecting with your sexuality in a way that feels real, authentic, and aligned with who you are — not who the world told you to be.
